SPECIAL “VOLCANO” REFUND TERMS
Dear Guest,
normally (by our rental terms) the 30% down payment is always not refundable.
But, cause the Volcano emergency, we created a specific “Volcano” refund policy that works (only) if, cause the ash, your flight will ever be cancelled
So, as special deal, because we understand the situation (we really well understand because we also completely lost all the rentals and balance at this time !) we will allow our guests to use the amount sent (down payment) as a "credit" for a 2nd reservation.
This special refund will be valid also for a cheaper apartment, but only for a similar length of the stay (with an equal or higther # of nights).
We anticipate that rates and availability may be different depending of the apartment/period you will choose.
Of course, we cannot be responsible if any apartment (also if is the same) will ever cost more for the new period you will going to rent. We will just apply (as we normally do) the same rates as the web shows.
Please, as soon as you can (we suggest to do it as soon as possible), check your favourite apartment and period on www.angelishouse.it and send us a formal request for the apartment/period you like more.
There are a lots of guests (UNFORTUNATELY) that are in the same situation, so we clearly show everybody all the TERMS and modalities, of this special refund, we can offer you.
SPECIAL “VOLCANO” REFUND TERMS (not negotiable)
WHAT WE CAN DO:

As soon as we will receive a new request from you, we will answer you and we will apply the same rate as the web shows for the NEW PERIOD requested and for the chosen property (the rate will be, of course, the one listed at the moment we will receive the new request) .

You can choose the same or also a different property (less expensive too) but only with an equal or higther # of nights.

A down payment will be requested to confirm the new rental. We can discount the amount you paid ONLY from the BALANCE rental amount of the NEW requested property/period. We cannot accept a new reservation without a down payment.
WHAT WE CANNOT DO:
- We can not make any other discount in addition of this special refund.
- This special refund will be valid also for a cheaper apartment, but only for a similar period (with an equal or higther # of nights).
- The amount we can refund (on balance rental only) is a “personal” credit. It means that you cannot give or pass it to any other people that was not included in the 1st (cancelled) contract.
- We cannot accept a new reservation without a down payment. We can discount the amount you paid ONLY from the BALANCE rental amount of the NEW requested property/period.
- In case that the property is the same, but the rates for the new period are higher we cannot apply the (not more valid) lower rate: the daily/weekly rate we quoted for the past cancelled contract cannot be extended (if lower than the new one) to the rate quoted for the new period. If the apartment you booked costs more, for the new period, we can only discount (from balance payment only) the amount you paid from the specific cost quoted on that (new) period.
Please note that, (even if by our rental terms, the down payment is not refundable in any case) we understand the situation and we just try to do our best considering this special terrible situation, that strongly damages our business too.
Please, consider that those terms (we CAN DO / we CANNOT DO) are quite necessary to let us try to help you and, at the same time, to quote clear availabilities and rates to other guests too.
Please, also consider that, we try to help our guests but, at the same time we also completely lost all the rentals and balance at this time. So, we are sincerely sorry, but we cannot do more than this.
